VERSENE* chelating agents help to control water hardness ions that can interfere with the performance of household, industrial, and institutional cleaning products. They help maintain clarity, retard rancidity, prevent streaking, remove hard water soap/film, and prevent scale in a wide variety of cleaner formulations including hard surface cleaners, laundry detergents, liquid soaps, germicidal and anti-bacterial cleansing preparations, and vehicle cleaners. They are USDA approved for many indirect food uses (such as sanitizing solutions). VERSENE chelating agents can also protect carpet cleaning machines and other cleaning equipment from failure due to scale build-up.
