Laundry Detergents

VERSENE* chelating agents are effective in controlling metal ions in laundry soaps. When moderately hard water is used in laundry processes, VERSENEX 80 chelating agent can be used to control the formation of undesirable soap curd. Other VERSENE chelating agents can be used to stabilize peroxide- and perborate-containing laundry products. Control of trace metals such as iron, manganese, and copper helps improve bleaching efficiency. VERSENE chelating agents are also used in commercial laundering operations.
